Overview

This is a motion graphics I made during my internship at designaffairs. Designaffiars were giving a speech at Material Innovative conference in Munich 2015, aims at introduce new material concepts for sustainable mobility. I recieved the task to create a motion graphics as short introduction to evolution of material. It reached the goal to warm up the meeting and recieved great success together with designaffairs' speech.

The challenge

In this project I learned how to do animation by After Effects. The animation lasts only 1 minute but the making process from idea, storyboard, illustration to animation lasted two weeks. Motion graphics is a digital story telling technique. By combining different creative elements like pictures, typography, illustration, logos, shapes and video,they are then animated in a way that tells a story.
